An introduction to the galaxy of art and perfume by way of the NASEVO Universe

  • This workshop sets out to introduce the participants to the galaxy of art and perfume from the NASEVO Universe, and does so using artworks from the NASEVO collection. We will travel by way of smells through some of the paintings in the collection before going on to prepare our own palette of colours / smells / emotions, with which each of us will create an olfactory chord that will be our personal olfactory signature.

    What is an olfactory note?

    The main olfactory families of the NASEVO universe:

    – Citrus family: Lemon, sweet orange, bitter orange, tangerine, grapefruit, bergamot
    – Floral family: Rosa, neroli, tuberose, jasmine, geranium, carnation, ylang ylang, thrush, gardenia, hyacinth, lilacs, violets …
    – Woody notes family: Cedar, sandalwood, vetiver
    – Spicy family: Vanilla, clove, cinnamon, pepper, saffron
    – Animal notes family: Musk, amber
